| Gibson Inn - Cafe Momi |
In Hawaii MOMI means Pearl. This one word depicts much of Chef Michael Feil’s passions in life. A native of San Diego, California Michael has had a close attachment to the sea, its beaches and its bounty. Four years ago he met Anna, his wife-to-be, innocently vacationing on Maui from Apalachicola. . Later, they had a beautiful daughter named Pearl. Visiting Apalachicola just a handful of times Chef Michael was instantly taken with the abundance of seafood and wildlife associated with his wife’s small town. The charm and character of this small community and its residence is intoxicating. Some might call it coincidence, but a unique turn of events has brought us back to Apalachicola.
